Meet Our Team
Ed Kargol
Vice President of Operations
Ed Kargol is the Vice President of Operations for Newco Electric, a position he has held since 2004.
Ed has worked in the electrical contracting industry for 47 years. He began his career as an electrician working his way up through the ranks to foreman and project management. With over 35 years of experience in management as well as founding and owning his own business in Atlanta, Georgia for 12 years. He has extensive knowledge of all facets of the electrical contracting industry. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed projects throughout the Eastern United States and holds licenses in the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Florida. In addition to being the chairman of Newco’s safety committee, he is active in NECA serving on the JATC apprenticeship committee and as a trustee for the Local 56 trust funds in Erie, PA.
Tyler Jaggi
Electrical Estimator / Project Manager
Tyler Jaggi, Lead Estimator at Newco Electric, leverages his technical expertise and passion for precision to deliver meticulous project estimates.
With a Bachelor’s of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University and substantial experience in project management, Tyler excels in navigating complex electrical systems. His background includes working with Weydman Electric in Buffalo, NY, where he honed his skills before joining Newco Electric in 2016. As a pivotal member of the estimating department, Tyler plays a crucial role in the company’s growth, handling estimates for a broad range of projects from renovations to large-scale commercial developments.
Mike Socash
Service Manager
Mike Scocash has been the Service Manager, Estimator and Project Manager for Newco Electric since 2008.
Mike likes to see the projects come in on time, under budget with the installation completed with skill and craftsmanship. Mike’s dedication and expertise contribute to the success of Newco Electric ensuring safe and efficient electrical solutions for clients whether it’s designing complex systems, overseeing critical projects or completing daily service calls.
